Thrifting is our favorite past time and our favorite place to do it, Goodwill, of course! Our favorite time to go is every first Saturday of the month. Here in Nashville, Tennessee Goodwill discounts all apparel to 50% off. Isn't that a deal?! We think so! The prices are already affordable but this discount sweetens the deal. During this event you are going to spend only your prettiest pennies to get double the amount of clothes that you normally would thanks to the hefty discount. It is seriously a steal. Check your neighborhood thrift store or Goodwill to see what discounts they may offer.

We get so excited to know that every time we shop at Goodwill we are not only getting amazing deals, but we are also able to impact an individual's life. Every time that you shop or donate to Goodwill you help meet the needs of many job seekers. Goodwill funds go towards programs for youth, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities, criminal backgrounds, and other specialized needs.

There are several ways that we desire to give back to communities, charities, and individuals around us in the future, and we are proud to say that this is only the beginning.

On random days we pop into several local Goodwills in the local Nashville and the surrounding areas to see what they have to offer. We have found that different locations have their own special qualities based on demographics.

One Tuesday afternoon we popped into the Bellevue location with no intent on finding anything. We came across several featured items which included this amazing blush sweater that would be great to wear for the holidays. Surprised to find the sweater, we searched in hopes to find a piece that would compliment it. We strongly believe in making an outfit out of your pieces before taking them home. This nifty trick is beneficial so that you can guarantee that it won't sit in the back of your closet for months due to not having a clue to how to wear it. During our search we found our other featured item which includes a pair of blush pants to match. Didn't we get lucky?

During the holidays you can have so much fun styling your look. We wanted to show you how you can break the rules of styling and just simply be glam-tacky. We layered sweaters, added several metallics, and sparkles to give this look a very magical holiday feel.
