Polised Pope | Styles

When it comes to fashion and design, I kind of consider myself a "Daredevil" because I like to go against the odds. During my Polished Pope | Styles: Retail Therapy Sessions held monthly at Goodwill, I tend to pick out the most outrageous pieces just to get a reaction from my clients and friends. When they do not like it, I figure thats my queue to acquire that piece so that I can show them how to eloquently style it. This outfit was pretty risky for me because of the white pants, but I literally said, "why not?"!

The featured sequin blouse had a combination of silver, brown, cream and white beads. There were so many different ways that I could style this blouse that would have been more on the traditional side of things. I decided to pair it with something I knew others would not do, white distressed pants to tone down the very dressy blouse. To continue to Valentine's Day theme I paired it with a red handbag, red lips and a simple red pump. This look is good for hanging out with friends for brunch or even a more laid back evening with the beaux on Valentine's Day.
